Check Out Ernie's New Blog

Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing fine. We are in the process of trying to purchase an updated coach for our ministry, As most of you know, with all my heart and health problems I need a coach to be able to travel like I do. I am asking that if any of you are able to donate anything toward this purchase it would be greatly appreciated. The least I have to finance the better. You can donate to this address, Heirline Bus Fund P.O Box 2176 Jasper, TN 37347. God Bless you for all your kindness. Please keep praying for me that God would restore my health, I have lost over 100 pounds as of this date, PTL, Ernie

  1. Hey you guys hope everyone is doing fine. Can't wait to see ya'll next week. I heard Singing News had a good write up on ya'll. We will be praying for the full amount on this new coach to be donated, if you didn't have to finance any that would be even better.

  7. Dear Ernie
I received a letter from you awhile back asking for a Love Offering, which that comes from the hearts of your Brother and Sisters in Christ to provide. Im sorry you are having health problems, we all deal with those problems everyday, but I have enough faith to know the Lord will take care of me. Then I check you website and now you are asking for a bus, I just dont feel thats right and I have seen you advertise in my state and I cant allow to go and see you perform. I lost alot of respect for you Ernie. I will continue to pray for you and pray for you health and your needs. Love in Christ Precious

  8. Dear Precious,
This response is certainly for you and any others out there who think that these men and women in Gospel Music who ask for your prayers and support just for personal gain should check up on your heavenly connections! These people sacrifice tremendously to bring to you the Gospel in music that lifts your spirits when you're down and brings you closer in your walk with the Lord. I too have been out there on the road singing and for the most part, our Love Offerings have little love and offerings in them which make it difficult at best to stay out there on the road. There are some self proclaimed Godly and well meaning people out there who think that dropping a Dollar in the offering is a huge sacrifice on their part and that God can do the rest. Well, He can! However, it's you who miss out on the true Blessings that you could have had by not obeying God by npt taking care of His people out there ministering to you! Ernie, like most other Gospel Singers have very little or NO ISSURANCE at all and any trip to the hospital can literally wipe them out financially. Hmmmm, compound that by the stress it places on their families, their ministry and the Body of Christ in general. We certainly are not giving the world a great witness by not obeying the Word of God and taking care of our own! Not to mention the cost of just being on the road. Don't you find it difficult paying $3-4 a gallon for fuel and eating out while traveling? Their equipment is big part of their ministries and it don't come cheap either. Let's get back to the BUS! Yes, the BUS... the way your favorite Gospel Singer gets to your town to Bless your heart and enable you to drop in the BIG OLE DOLLAR BILL in the plate when it passes by! If you know Ernie & Heirline, you know that Ernie has had quite a time with medical issues and several of them MAJOR medical events which most people in his shoes would have just given up on following the Heart of God in this ministry. But, not Ernie. He is obeying His Master and carrying on and God is Blessing and providing. Now, in light of his condition, the old bus they had had a list too long to mention here of how many times it had left them on the side of the road and at each occurance costing them thousands of Dollars just to get it repaired in order to keep on going. Bro Ernie needed a newer, more reliable and more important for his condition, a comfortable home away from home to keep his ministry out there for all of us to be Blessed.
Now, I know that I've no doubt upset you by now and if so I pray that you are now truely convicted of your harsh words about Ernie causing you to lose respect from you. You should be praying for him even more and praising God that the Heavely Father provided Ernie with that new bus inspite of your accusations and darkened heart. May God continue to use Ernie and all the others out there traveling around the country, away from their homes and families in order to bring this wonderful music that uplifts out spirits and points us in the way of the Cross.

I am going through chemo now. Please remember me in your prayers and I will pray that ya'll will continue to bless more souls for the kingdom of God. God bless you all .
